These pointe shoes featured in this painting are the same as the ones worn by the National Ballet Company, and made by Freddys of London- so it's a great picture for true ballet afficienados.

The pinks of the satin shoes and ribbons are a subtle, sophisticated shade, and the background colour is a complimentary pale lavender.
