by Linda Boucher
watercolour on paper
Original watercolour painting of a curvy woman painted with strong black lines, and soft rose red details- such as her lips and the flower in her hair.
I've named this piece Nemesis- she's checking out her derrière...
I love the work of Rene Gruau, an illustrator best known for his work with Dior- and he's influenced my work here, with simple curves and lines.
The painting is on a 'champagne' coloured Canford card. This has a very warm tint to it, and I love the shade.
